Once there was a story was told: in an old people's house somewhere in China, a rope was given to an elderly person to practice tying the knot and untying it. This simple problem-solving game requires little cognitive capacity which is to keep the mind alive and prevent Alzheimer's disease in his/her remaining years of life. I see this as a striking metaphor for life's journey itself, then became more obvious when one gets old.
